5to9quant is a blog centered around systematic macroeconomic trading and investing research performed by me — Quanty Python (A pseudonym for now). While my 9 to 5 is being a mechanical engineer, I am also working part-time towards an M.S. in Applied and Computational Math at Johns Hopkins. This site is partly for my own documentation, but also to show the journey of an independent trader not already starting from a professional background in trading.
